451 Wheelset for Dahon Jetstream 2014
451 wheelset with Fastace DA1 hub
- Schwalbe Durano tyres 20x1 1/8
- DA16 Weinmann rims
- Fastace DA1 10 speed hub (100MM front and 135mm rear; 20 spokes; cartridge bearing)
Conclusion:
- rubbish
- bumpy
- extra effort to cycle
- rolling resistance
- higher ride hide; ie less stable
- DA1 fastace hub isn't smooth or loud
- hated it and will stick with 406 wheelset
- 451 wheelset is not suitable for Dahon Jetstream 2014

Dahon Skycap for My Dahon Jetstream 2014
Planning to travel with my Dahon Jetstream 2014. Searched high and low for a suitable luggage/bike case; aren't many choices in the market with a tight budget.
B&W bike cases are nice but expensive. Finally decided on Dahon Skycap.
Huge bag for a folding bike. Dimension is 710MMx880MMx350MM/ 78" linear inches (would consider as odd size by most airliners), costs RM810/ approx. USD 200, fitted nicely into my car boot.
The Sky Cap comes with a tough reinforced outer frame and durable Nylon construction. Heavy duty, 270° zipper makes stowing your folded 16" or 20" bike fast, clean and hassle-free. Pullman style handle and flush mounted wheels make airport manoeuvring a breeze, and the outer security straps keeps the folding bike secure.
Features:
- Four built-in wheels for easy upright rolling and 360 degree turns
- Sturdy pull-out handle for easy gripping when lifting over curbs or thresholds
- Internal packing pieces to wrap around and protect the frame and components
- Heavy duty 600d cover to resist damage from punishing baggage handlers
- Dimensions: 710 mm x 880 mm x 350 mm
- Lines inches: 78"
- Weight: 10 kg (22 lbs)
